PURPOSE:To produce the glass fibers uniform in diameter by providing a subterminal on the outside of a glass heating main terminal when recesses are furnished at regular intervals to a bushing plate in the title glass fiber producing device and glass fibers are spun through a glass inlet hole on the inside of the recess. CONSTITUTION:Plural recesses 6 are provided to the bushing plate material 1 in the glass fiber producing device 5', a reinforcing rib 2 is formed between the respective recesses 6, and a frame 3 is integrally formed on the outside edges of the recesses 6. Many funneled glass inlet holes 7 are staggeringly bored in each recess 6, and the bushing plate 1 having nozzles which spinning holes is pierced, is formed at the bottom. Molten glass is filled in the device 5', main and auxiliary terminals 4, 8, and 8' are energized, and the molten glass is spun into a fiber through the nozzle hole. Since the frame 3 as well as the auxiliary rib 2 are heated by the auxiliary terminals 8 and 8', the molten glass is wholly and uniformly heated, and a glass fiber having uniform diameter can be spun through the nozzle. |
