PURPOSE:To prevent the damage or corrosion caused by local heating of a device, such as a vessel, due to a reflex electron beam, by providing a heat sink constituted with many slanting surfaces continuously disposed to the part hit with the reflex electron beam in a vapor enclosing vessel to catch the reflex electron beam. CONSTITUTION:The heat sink 18 provided to the part hit with the reflex electron beam 17 reflected at the melting surface 9 of a metallic raw material 3 in the vapor enclosing vessel 11, is constituted with many slanting surfaces continuously disposed. The reflex electron beam 17 colliding against one of the slanting surfaces is partly absorbed there as heat, but the remnant beam is reflected there and is repeated to collide against neighboring other slanting surfaces. At this time, the reflex electron beam 17 is caught as heat in each slanting surface and is attenuated. The generated heat is discharged in succession to the outside of the system by cooling pipes 19 provided to the heat sink 18. As a result, the reflex electron beam 17 is perfectly caught by the heat sink 18, and the corrosion or damage is absolutely eliminated because the vapor enclosing vessel 11 is not locally heated by the reflex electron beam.
