PURPOSE:To easily measure the weight of a patient without giving pain to the patient by interposing >=1 load cells between a stretcher frame and a stretcher part placed thereupon. CONSTITUTION:Casters 3 are fitted to the reverse surface of the stretcher frame 1 to facilitate movement. Arms 5a and 5b, a screw 6, and a handle 7 are provided between a lower frame 2 and an upper frame 4 to enable the upper frame 4 to be moved up and down. A stretcher 9 is mounted through >=1 load cells 8 fitted on the top surface of the upper frame 4 together with the patient. The load cells 8 incorporate strain gauges and send piezoelectrically converted signals to a display device 18, which displays the weight of the patient. Consequently, the weight of a seriously sick person who can not stand is easily measured in safety. |
