PURPOSE:To provide an adhesive compsn. which is excellent in the adhesiveness as well as in the resistance to boiling water, humidity, corrosion, and weather and which comprises a particular polymer, an epoxy resin having a rust- preventive pigment dispersed therein and a silane coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:At least one acrylic unsatd. monomer selected from among methyl methacrylate and 2-12C alkyl (meth)acrylates is copolymerized with an unsatd. carboxylic acid functional monomer, such as (meth)acrylic acid. Then, the carboxyl groups of the resultant copolymer are reacted with an alkyleneimine, thereby preparing a polymer (A) having pendant aminoester groups of the formula (wherein R is 2-3C alkylene). Thereafter, 10-80wt.% binder comprising component (A), an epoxy resin (B) contg. 0.1-40wt.% rust- preventive pigment (e.g., zinc chromate) and 0.1-10wt.% silane coupling agent (C) (e.g., 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane) is blended with 90-20wt.% org. solvent (e.g., hexane), thereby preparing an adhesive compsn. for lamination of a polyvinyl fluoride film onto a hot-dip galvanized sheet iron or Al plate. |
