PURPOSE:To obtain the titled preparation showing excellent neutral muscle relaxing action, alleviating hardness and contracture of muscle, facilitating rehabilitation of sequelae of head trauma without causing sleepiness, containing an indole derivative or a salt thereof as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The titled preparation containing an indole derivative shown by formula I [R<1> is H or group shown by formula II (R<5> is H, lower alkyl or aryl; R<6> is H or lower alkyl; Y is hydroxyl group, lower alkoxy, amino, etc.); R<2> is H, lower alkyl, halogen or -COZ (Z is hydroxyl group, lower alkoxy, amino, etc.); R<3> is H, lower alkyl which may be replaced with carboxyl group, halogen or nitro; R<4> is H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, etc.; with the proviso that R<2> is -COZ when R<1> and H and R<2> is except -COZ when R<1> is group shown by formula II] or a salt thereof. When used, the preparation is orally administered in syrup, etc., or parenterally administered in injection, etc.
