CONSTITUTION:When the friction coefficient of the surface of the cylinder 7 and wire rod 10 are measured, the wire rod 10 which has weights A and B with weight values WA and WB (WA>WB) connected to both ends is wound around the surface of the cylinder 7 which is restrained from rotating by at least one round, and while the weight A is placed on a table, the weight B at the other end is increased in weight gradually to find the friction coefficient of the cylinder surface and wire rod from the weight ratio of the weight B to the weight A when the weight A leaves the table. The wire rod is wound around the cylinder surface once, but can be wound more, e.g. (n) times and muin this case is 1/n.
