PURPOSE:To clearly show who is a speaker at a glance and to attain efficiency to progress a conference, by displaying the speaker alone when the speaker exists, and all of the attendees of the conference when no speaker exists. CONSTITUTION:When one of the attendees speaks, a voice is inputted from a corresponding microphone out of microphones 2a-2d, and it is converted to an electrical signal. The electrical signal is transmitted from a voice amplifi cation circuit 5 via a telephone line 26a, and also, it arrives at a preferential control circuit 15 from a sound level detection circuit 9, and is generated as a pre-set position signal. The pre-set position signal is supplied to a pre-set camera control circuit 16. The pre-set camera control circuit 16 supplies a corresponding driving signal to a rotary board 17 and a zoom lens 20, and aligns the photographing position of a television camera 4 and focus to a pre-set position. In such a way, a picture of quarter display on which the speaker is displayed alone when the speaker exists is displayed.
