PURPOSE:To obtain a personal word processor handy to carry and excellent in handleability, by detachably fitting a word processor unit and an image input/output controlling unit by connectors. CONSTITUTION:A connector 76 capable of being engaged with a connector 75 of a word processor unit A is mounted on a front face of an image input/ output controlling unit B. A pawl 96 is provided on a rear face of the word processor unit A, and engagement of the pawl 96 with a pawl-catching part 95 provided on the controlling unit B provides a slip-off preventing function when the units A and B are connected to each other in a body. Namely, when a printing operation is not required, the connectors 75, 76 connecting the units A and B to each other are disengaged from each other, whereby the word processor can be used independently and solely. Thus, the word processor becomes handy to carry and excellent in handleability. |
