PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having the excellent sharpness by forming the chartaceous of the substrate paper by incorporating >=0.2pts.wt. alkylketene dimer or >=0.7pts.wt. a higher fatty acid and/or its salt in a raw material used in the production of the substrate paper having >=0.90g/cm<2> density, followed by incorporating an aqueous polymer in the obtd. chartaceous. CONSTITUTION:The substrate paper has the density of >=0.90g/cm<2>, and the raw material used in the production of the substrate paper comprises >=0.2pts.wt. alkylketene dimer or >=0.7pts.wt. the higher fatty acid and/or its salt, to form the chartaceous of said substrate paper, followed by incorporating the aqueous polymer in said chartaceous. The density of the substrate paper is >=0.90g/cm<2>. Thus, the obtd. substrate body for the photographic sensitive material is useful to the substrate for not only a photographic printing paper, but also the printing papers of a planographic printing and various kinds of the photographic sensitive materials capable of utilizing to a silver salt diffusion transfer method, and a dyestuff diffusion transfer method, etc. |
