PURPOSE:To allow automatic transfer without collapsing the mating by extracting a shadow mask and a panel from a hanger with respective transferring units, transferring them to a dedicated conveyor pallet, detecting the size, direction, etc., and concurrently transferring them. CONSTITUTION:When a hanger 2 arrives, the X travel bed 11 of a hanger clamp device 5A is synchronously traveled, after a fixed distance, a Y travel bed 8 proceeds to the hanger side to clamp the hanger 2 by an arm 15. The X travel bed 21 of a lifter transferring unit 16A is controlled at the same speed as the bed 11, a receiving plate 25 is lifted, a panel 3 is scooped, then a Y travel bed 19 is retreated. A rotary shaft 22 is rotated by 180 deg. to lift the plate 25, the panel 3 is moved to a vacuum attraction pad 31 along an attraction guide bar 32A and shifted and transferred on an accumulate conveyor 26. The panel 3 is collated with the mating shadow mask 4 for the size and direction by a panel checker. The mask 4 flows likewise the panel 3 at a fixed distance, and they are transferred together when the final collation succeeds. Accordingly, they can be automatically transferred without collapsing the mating even if separately transferred.
