PURPOSE:To prevent the supply quantity of a toner to a toner carrier from becoming insufficient, by supporting a diaphragm for preventing the aggregation of the toner in the upper area of a toner replenishing member to extend to the lower part from its supporting part. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm 12 is supported on the upper area of a toner replenishing member 5, and extends to the lower part from its supporting part 13. By the rotation of the toner replenishing member 5, its arm 11 strikes intermittently the free end side of the diaphragm 12, and the diaphragm 12 vibrates ad indicated with an arrow around the supporting part 13 of its upper part. The diaphragm 12 is positioned at the upper part of the toner replenishing member 5, therefore, it can give effectively a vibrating force to a toner of this area. In such a way, the toner is not aggregated in the upper area of the toner replenishing roller 5, and a toner supply to a developing roller 6 is not obstructed.
