<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the running cost by bringing high concentration odor into contact with active sludge solution to reduce odorous components and then mixing the same with medium and low concentration odor and ventilating a packed layer of peat fibers. CONSTITUTION:The high concentration odor discharged out of a raw sewage sink or the like is guided from a tube 4 into a column 2 into contact with active sludge solution guided out of an aeration tank of a sewage disposal plant. The odor, odorous components of which are partially removed by active sludge, is guided into a deodorizing column 6 filled with peat fibers through a tube 5. The medium and low concentration odors discharged because of ventilation of the aeration tank or the building is guided from tubes 7 and 8 into the tube 5, where odors are mixed with each other and guided into the odorizing column 6. Deodorized gas from which bad odorous components are decomposed by microbes living on the surface of peat fibers is discharged out of a tube 9.</p> |
