PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of heat of a printing head due to the eddy current generated in a core and to increase the speed of a printer, by constituting a yoke by connecting a core having at least one or more slit and base yoke almost in parallel to a flux flow direction. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 1 is held between a ring yoke 2 and a yoke 3, and the yoke 3 is bonded to a base yoke 4. A core 6 having slits 5 carved therein almost in parallel to the flow direction of the flux generated from the permanent magnet 1 is bonded to the base yoke 4. In usual, an armature 7 is attracted to the core 6 by the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 1 and a leaf spring 10 is distorted. When a current is allowed to flow to a demagnetizing coil 8 according to necessity, the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 1 is negated and the armature 7 is released and the leading end of a printing wire 11 is operated by the energy accumulated in the leaf spring 10 to print a dot on a paper through an ink ribbon. Since the slits 5 are carved in the core, an eddy current is hard to generate and the driving efficiency of the armature can be raised. |
