PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness by a method wherein, when the detected temperature of a temperature detector for suction air is increased to a set value, if the detected temperature of a radiation detector does not attain the set value, operation is continued, and when it attains the set value, operation is stopped. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of suction air, detected by a temperature detector 5, is increased to a set value, and if an indoor temperature, generated by radiation from a wall surface and the like and detected by a radiation detector 6, does not attain the set value, operation is continued by means of an operation control means 8. When the suction air temperature and the temperature by radiation are increased to the set value, the operation control means performs control so that operation is stopped. Thus, an indoor temperature available when operation is stopped can be rapidly regulated to temperature suitable for an actual sensed temperature, and even during rise of heating operation, a trouble that a resident feels cold can be prevented from occurring, and comfortableness can be improved.
