PURPOSE:To omit the addition of a debug-only routine by stopping the working of a microinstruction executing means when at least a part of the data on an internal bus is coincident with the prescribed expected value. CONSTITUTION:The execution of a microinstruction is stopped when a part of the bus output data 105 is coincident with the prescribed expected value (the data stored in a comparison data register 9). In such a case, the mask data is previously stored in a comparison mask register 7 to mask the residual part of the data 105 excluding a part to be compared. When it is desired to stop the execution of the microinstruction when the entire data 105 is coincident with the expected value, the mask data is previously stored into the register 7 to transmit completely the data 105 through a coincidence detecting circuit 10.
