<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out tissue culture at high cell proliferativity and stably for a long period in subjecting a plant to tissue culture by the use of a liquid medium, by intermittently feeding a plant hormone to the medium under a specific condition. CONSTITUTION:In subjecting a plant to tissue culture by the use of an ordinary liquid medium, the culture is carried out by intermittently adding a plant hormone to the medium by satisfying the following two conditions. Namely, the feed interval D (hour) of the plant hormone is made 0.5-5 times as much as the cell redoubling time preferably at a point of time when the pressure of the plant hormone remaining in the medium becomes zero and the correlation 10<-12A/D.W<10<-6> (A is amount (mol) of the plant hormone intermittently added to the medium, W is fresh cell weight (g) in a culture zone and D is feed interval (day) of the plant hormone).</p> |
