PURPOSE:To eliminate an irregularity in concentration and reloading development without spoiling the size of a device and easiness in replenishment by providing a blade member which has a 30-90 deg. angle to a horizontal direction when coming closest to the upper end of a partition wall to the tip of a developer supply member. CONSTITUTION:A developer storage part 5 is provided behind a development part 9 across the partition wall and a developer is supplied horizontally from the storage part 5 to the development part 9 through the rotation of the developer supply member 6 in the storage part. Here, the blade member 7 which has a 30-90 deg. angle to the horizontal direction when coming closest to the upper end of the partition wall is provided to the tip of the developer supply member 6. Consequently, the developer can be supplied sufficiently from the developer storage part 5 to the development part 9 without varying the size of the developing device itself, and an excellent copy which is free from reloading development and a decreases and an irregularity in concentration.
