The object of the invention is to join two pipe sections (1 and 2) together when one pipe section (1) is inserted in the other pipe section (2), and this is effected by arranging explosive (3) inside the one pipe section which, when detonated, causes plastic deformation in both pipe sections so that they become joined together by means of a clamping action. |
