The known display devices applied to medicament packs and the like for indication of the time/temperature exposure of the product comprise an indicator composition which is located on one end of an indicator strip and increasingly changes the colour of the latter. One problem of these is the fact that the storage time and temperature of the display device are included in the display. According to the invention, the indicator composition (25) is contained in a depot chamber (17) and is initially separated from the indicator strip (24). For starting purposes, the depot chamber (17) can be compressed with a ram by which means the indicator composition (25) is forced into an ante-chamber (18) in which it comes into contact with the indicator strip (24).
