PURPOSE:To perform the delivery operation of a message of long time, by using plural memory circuits for reception message provided corresponding to every call as the memory circuits for a response message when a state is set at a response dedicated activity state. CONSTITUTION:When the response message is a long message, the response message, after being stored in a first response message memory circuit 18, a second response message memory circuit 19, a first reception message memory circuit 20, a second reception message memory circuit 21, and a third reception message memory circuit 22, a device is set at an automatic response state. When a call signal arrives from a telephone line, the messages stored in the first response message memory circuit 18, the second response message memory circuit 10, the first reception message memory circuit 20, the second reception message memory circuit 21, and the third reception message memory circuit 22 are read out successively, and are sent to a caller.
