PURPOSE:To enhance a color image, by a method wherein one thermal color- forming layer containing at least a diazo compound and a coupler as color- forming ingredients is formed on one surface of a transparent substrate and a pressure sensitive color-forming layer capable of coloring to a different hue from that of the aforesaid thermal color-forming layer is provided on the other surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:On one surface of a transparent substrate 2, a thermal color- forming layer 1 capable of coloring independently into two hues is formed; on the other surface, a pressure sensitive recording layer 3 is provided. The thermal color-forming layer 1 has either the combination of two types of diazo compounds capable of coloring into hues different from each other and a common coupler, or that of a common diazo compound and two types of couplers, and each of the two types of diazo compounds or the at least two types of couplers are respectively contained in microcapsules 4 of a polymer wall having a low glass transition point and microcapsules 5 of a polymer wall having a high glass transition point. In this manner, a multicolor image having desired hues can be formed without fogging. |
