PURPOSE:To efficiently wind a rapidly cooled metal on a rotating cylindrical body by bending the top part of the metal introduced into the cylindrical body from an opening part on the inner peripheral surface of the body by an opening of a same type cylindrical body which is installed in the former body and is rotated in the reverse direction to that of the former body. CONSTITUTION:An outer rotating body 3 is rotated at a speed equal to the casting speed of a rapidly cooled metal stock 1 and an inner rotating body 4 is concurrently rotated at a preferable speed. The top part of the metal 1 is introduced into a winder 2, is bent by the outer and inner bodies 3, 4 to wind the metal 1 on the outer body 3. The winding is efficiently performed by a device of that structure.
