PURPOSE:To constitute two relay units of one electromagnetic relay by each mounting a pair of magnetic poles to the upper and lower sections of a pair of pole pieces oppositely faced to both end sections of a core, on which a coil is wound, so that unlike poles are faced oppositely. CONSTITUTION:A pair of opposed pole pieces 72, 73 are formed at both end sections of a core 71 on which a coil 75 is wound, a pair of magnetic poles (S2, N1), (N2, S1) are each set up to the upper and lower sections of the pole pieces 72, 73 so that S1 and N1 as unlike poles and S2 and N2 as ones are faced oppositely, and the magnetic poles S1, N1, S2, N2 are faced oppositely to the opposed iron pieces 72, 73 in moving blocks 5a, 5b respectively. When a switch SW2 is turned OFF and a switch SW1 is turned ON, currents in the direction of the arrow X flow through the coil 75, a common terminal 33 is conducted with a negative terminal for a power supply through a moving contact 37, a fixed contact 35 and a terminal 31 and a common terminal 43 with a positive terminal for the power supply through a moving contact 47, a fixed contact 46 and a terminal 42 respectively, and currents in the direction of the arrow P flow and a motor 100 is forward turned and driven. When switch operation is reversed, the motor 100 is reversely rotated and driven. Accordingly, two pairs of relay units can be turned ON-OFF by one electromagnet.
