PURPOSE:To minimize the number of times of breakdown by using an input data supply means, an output data extracting means, a deciding means and a selection means to automatically switch a microfunction circuit having a trouble to a spare microfunction circuit. CONSTITUTION:The presence or absence of abnormality is checked for each microfunction circuit and a decision signal is delivered via a deciding means 4. A selection control means 5 gives an instruction signal to an input data supply means 1 to change the supply of data to one of spare microfunction circuits from the microfunction circuit having its abnormality in response to the decision signals corresponding to the microfunction circuits 21-25 receiving the supply of data. Then the means 5 outputs an instruction signal to an output data extracting means 3 to extract selectively the output of the microfunction circuit that receives the supply of data on a spare microfunction circuit in place of the faulty microfunction circuit. In such a way, the number of times of breakdown of a data processor is minimized owing to the combination with the re-execution functions carried out when a trouble occurs.
