The present invention relates to an apparatus for canal treatment by ultrasound in odontology, which apparatus can be used more particularly for canal shaping, cleaning and condensation-type filling. This apparatus is characterised in that the means for securing the file for reaming comprise a seat 5 in which is engaged and held an outer part 6a, 16a of the file 6, 16 and which is itself screwed and locked on a threaded joining piece 4 of the sonotrode which is screwed on the piezoelectric transducer, and the seat 5, whose inside is connected by way of the hand-piece and the sonotrode to a source of germicidal liquid, has, over a part of its length, starting from its outer end 5a, a radial slot 8 which opens into the bore 7 of the seat and in the lateral surface 5b thereof. <IMAGE> |
