<p>PURPOSE:To improve the reproducibility and quality of images by arranging a cylindrical lens between a light source and an optical shutter array and arranging a Selfoc lens array between the optical shutter array and a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A slit beam 5 radiated from a light source 1 through the cylindrical lens 18 and a slit plate 3 is made incident upon the optical shutter array 6 and optically modulated. An optical output optically modulated by the array 6 is allowed to expose the surface of the photosensitive body 2 through the Selfoc lens array 23. The array 6 is functioned as an optical shutter by driving voltages corresponding to respective colors from a control part 9 driven by receiving an image signal. The control part 9 applies a signal to the driving motor 10 of the photosensitive body 2 to control its rotation. Since light from the light source 1 can be previously controlled as a light beam corresponding to the array 6 in said constitution, optical loss can be reduced, light can be effectively used and the quantity of light applied to the array 6 can be uniformed by a pixel 7. In addition, a light beam projected from the array 6 can be effectively converged by the array 23.</p> |
