The material in the first stage (I) of the thermo-press (1) is exposed to such high pressure and friction that steam is emitted. This steam is driven by a fan into a condensation drier (2) located at an intermediary stage in the press. - A steam regulator (4) increases the quantity of steam to the condensation drier to force steam out of the material (3) which is then brought to the final stage (II) of the press. A through driving shaft (11) for the press is fitted in the intermediary stage condensation drier to maintain the drying surfaces clean of material, and beyond the condensation drier is an intake (5) for insertion of damp material (31) in the final stage of the thermo-press.
