Shaft covering with safety self-locking mechanism

For safety reasons, demands are increasingly made for shaft coverings with a locking mechanism or closure, in particular in pedestrian areas. Coverings with closures require appropriate wrenches (keys) for operation, which has certain disadvantages. The shaft covering corresponding to the innovation has an automatic left/right or left/left or right/right self-locking mechanism. A special wrench for releasing the locking mechanism is not necessary; only a lifting tool. Since the locking mechanism cannot be seen from above, the opening mechanism is also not recognisable from outside. Opening by unauthorised people is thus prevented.
