The method involves inputting data for specifying each three-dimensional curved surface and specifying single curves on a set plane using two element constituted by segments or arcs to specify each curve. The next step includes determining the sectional curves obtained when the composite curved surface is cut at sections located at the intersections of the set plane and the ith elements in those elements defining the single curves which go in a specific direction. A tool is then moved along successive sectional curves.
