<p>PURPOSE:To conduct interface to each of electric and optical signal by constituting input-output interface cells for a gate array of electric input-output interface pads, optoelectric transducers and interface circuits and selecting either interface circuit of said pads or said transducers. CONSTITUTION:A large number of input-output interface cells 4 organized of electric input-output interface pads 5, optoelectric transducers 6 and interface circuits 7 are disposed around an internal cell 3. The pad 5 is interfaced by a bonding pad 8 and a metallic small-gage wire 9, and the transducer 6 is interfaced with the outside by an optical guide 10. The pads 5 and the circuits 7 are connected on electric input-output interface, and the transducers 6 and the circuits 7 are connected on optical input-output interface, thus performing interface to each of electric and optical signal.</p> |
