The heater main part contains an electrical heating element (6), a straight medium tube (5), and a metal body (9) which joins the heating element and the tube. The ends of the tube and the end parts (6c, 6d) of the heating element are located outside the metal body. - The electrical heating element comprises a U-shaped formation, the arms of which are parallel with the medium tube. In the central part of the element is a curved formation which deviates from the plane formed by the arms, this formation being enclosed by an outwardly bent part (10) of the metal body.
