<p>PURPOSE:To readily and efficiently grow a piece of young plant, plant cell, hydroponic plant, etc., by cultivating a plant in a thin film coating medium obtained by coating the surface of a support constituted so as to enable flow, feed and discharge of the culture medium with a thin film. CONSTITUTION:A flowable culture medium 1 consisting of a material of support such as a foaming material, etc., of cotton or plastic, feed inlet 4 of the culture medium and discharge outlet 5 is prepared. A thin film coating culture medium obtained by applying a material for thin film coating 2 such as gelling agent such as agar, carageenan, etc., to the surface of the flowable culture medium 1 is sterilized by high pressure sterilization method. Then a piece of young plant, etc., is inoculated in a sterilized culture medium under sterile circumference such as clean room, etc. Successively as necessary complementary culture liquid is sprayed by an apparatus 3 and the plant is cultivated under controlled temperature, humidity and illuminance, etc.</p> |
