PURPOSE:To surely and easily weld between lugs of a plate group and a strap and between the strap and a post by forming a lead component so as to have an H-shaped cross section, checking the spread of burner flame by the H-shaped recess. CONSTITUTION:In the group welding of a plate group, the plate group 5 is held in a frame and a strap molding tool comprising a comb 3 and a patch 2 is set in plate lugs, then a post 4 and a lead component 1 having a H-shaped cross section are placed on the plate lugs. A burner 6 is moved straight or zigzag from the upper part of the lead component 1 to melt the lead component by the flame 7 of the burner 6, and at the same time, the plate lugs and the post 4 are welded to form a strap. When the lead component is melted by the flame of the burner, the spread of the flame is checked to prevent the thinning of the post. The flame is concentrated on the component and lead is melted to the lower part of the strap. |
