PURPOSE:To improve both sensitivity and durability by coating a coating liquid into which an electric charge generating material, org. high-polymer and specific solvent are incorporated on an electric charge transfer layer so that an electric charge generating layer distributed with a thin resin layer consisting of the org. high-polymer on the surface of a photosensitive body is formed. CONSTITUTION:The charge transfer layer is formed on the electrophotographic sensitive body laminated with the charge generating layer on the charge transfer layer and thereafter, the coating liquid contg. the charge generating material, the org. high- polymer and the solvent having <=400mmHg vapor pressure at 20 deg.C is coated thereon. The sufficient time necessary for the two materials to be compatible at the boundary with the charge transfer layer is thereby assured as the evaporation rate of the solvent in the coating liquid is low; in addition, the charge generating layer in which the high-density charge generating material is distributed to the charge transfer layer side and the thin resin layer mainly consisting of the org. high-polymer is distributed to the surface of the photosensitive body is formed. The high sensitivity electrophotographic org. sensitive body which permits use of various org. high-polymers as the binder for the charge generating material and has the low residual potential and excellent durability is thus easily obtd. |
