摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the positional accuracy between optical fibers in an optical fiber arranging device and to facilitate control by using a plate with specific guide groove arrays and a keep plate for arrangement for arraying plural pieces of the optical fibers at equal intervals. CONSTITUTION:The spacing between the guide grooves 8 is specified to (x) and the spacing between projecting parts 9 of the keep plate 10 is specified to (x) as well in order to arrange the optical fibers 3 inserted into the guide grooves 8 at the target spacing (x). The keep plate 10 for arrangement having the projecting parts 9 of the width smaller than the width of the guide grooves 8 which can be pressed to the side parts of the optical fibers 3 is mounted. The respective optical fibers 3 can move up to the points where the fibers contact the walls A at the ends of the guide grooves 8 when the plate 10 is moved in parallel with the substrate plane in an arrow direction. The spacing between the optical fibers is, therefore, set at the specified (x). The optical fiber arranging device having the high interoptical fiber positional accuracy regardless of the difference in the outside diameter of the optical fibers is thus easily obtd.
