A shaft (14) engages a cylinder of a cylinder assembly (16) which houses working tips (18). One of the tips can be coupled to the shaft when the latter is moved longitudinally w.r.t. the cylinder into a loading position. The cylinder has chambers, each housing a tip. When the shaft is moved from the loading position to a working positon, the tip is advanced. In the working position, the shaft can be rotated independently of the cylinder assembly. The tip-shaft connections are of arcuate tongue and groove assembly. Tips may be interchanged rapidly.
