PURPOSE:To shorten communication processing time by transmitting processing requests simultaneously to plural CPUs and detecting the processing end reports produced asynchronously from those CPUs based on the outputs of an end detecting means and a selection means. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 1 sets the communication request signals CRQ10-12 at logic '1', the logic '1' is set at FF 1a-1c and simultaneously the communication requests are sent to CPUs 2-4. Based on these requests, the CPUs 2-4 perform their processing tasks and send the processing end signals and the end state signals when their tasks are through. The processing tasks of the CPUs 2-4 end asynchronously with each other and these end signals are sent to a processing end detecting part 1d. The processing end is detected when an end signal ENDA is set at logic '1'. The end state signals are reported for their selective ends through an end report selecting part 1e in accordance with priorities. Then the end report result signals RPYS 16 and 17 are set at logic '1'. In such a way, the communication processing is carried out in response to each end state and therefore the processing time is shortened.
