PURPOSE:To carry out the polishing for a small article semiautomatically by pressing a grindstone onto a polished article by a weight formed integrally with the grindstone and polishing the surface by a parallel movement by a motor and a reciprocating movement in the direction perpendicular to the above- described parallel movement by an air cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The control for the shift of a main column 8 by a motor and the shift in the direction perpendicular to the above-described shift by a cylinder 15 is restricted by the installed limit switches. A grindstone 30 polishes and grinds the surface necessarily through the abrasion of the grindstone 30 by a weight 25 (bolt used as weight). Further, since a grindstone chuck 28 having the grindstone 30 installed is equipped with a rubber packing 29 between the grindstone 30, the chattering phenomenon of the grindstone 30 is prevented. With such constitution, the manual operation for the paper wrapping work in the conventional ways can be carried out in a mechanical way, and the precision can be secured sufficiently, and this method is particularly suitable for a small-sized article. |
