PURPOSE:To uniformly cool the whole outer surface including the corner of a mold and to cause no hot spot by arranging the spray nozzle cooling the face part of a mold and that cooling the angular part so as to come to the medium of the distance between the respective nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The spray nozzle 2 cooling the face and corner of the outer surfaces A-D of a mold 1 in the mold for continuous casting equipment is arranged by sliding a pitch P each 1/2 pitch respectively. An effective cooling face 4 is distributed almost uniformly on the white face if the mold 1 by doing like this. Consequently there is no room causing a hot spot and the outer surface including the corner of the mold 1 is uniformly cooled.
