PURPOSE:To make the operation such as selection, replacement and the like of adapters unnecessary by a method wherein a variable stopper to stop the position of a metering cylinder at the predetermined stroke is provided at the periphery of a piston rod so as to set the variable stopper at the position of the predetermined stroke by remote-controlling. CONSTITUTION:The actuation of a variable stopper 16 is controlled with a combined master-slave motor 1 by detecting pulses corresponding to the inputted piston stroke. Firstly, the variable stopper 16 is ran in a high speed feeding with the master motor so as to clear the set stroke. When 95%, of the set stroke is cleared, the master motor is changed over to the slave motor so as to clear the remaining 5%, of the set stroke at low speed feeding. When all the set stroke is cleared, the power source of the slave motor is turned off so as to set the variable stopper 16 at the position of the set stroke. At that time, an inlet solenoid valve 53 is open under the state that an outlet solenoid valve 54 is closed so as to flow pressurized liquid 27 in a metering cylinder 50, resulting in lowering a piston 51 so as to stop a flatter 24 by abutting the flatter against the variable stopper 16 in order to finish the metering of liquid of the predetermined volume. |
