PURPOSE:To adjust the sound volume with high accuracy in a short period by comparing the desired sound volume of a speaker and the reproduced sound volume of a test sound volume signal and sending an amplifier gain variable command to the amplifier circuit until the both are coincident. CONSTITUTION:A surround system 11 supplies test audio signal sequentially to amplifier circuits 5l, 5r, 6l, 6r connected respectively to plural speakers 2l, 2r, 3l, 3r whose reproduced sound volume is to be adjusted. The detected reproduced sound volume detected by a remote control transmitter 12 set to the listening position and the desired sound volume set by a listener are compared. Then until they are coincident, the transmitter 12 sends a remotecommand to vary the gain of the circuits 5l, 5r, 6l, 6r sequentially. Thus, the transmitter 12 set with the desired sound volume at the listening location has only to be set to apply reproduction automatically in a preferred sound volume. |
