PURPOSE:To effectively perform the single unit test of a program module without producing any pseudo module by securing such a mechanism where the value of a parameter variable can be set and changed via a terminal as necessary. CONSTITUTION:An external reference series file 12 records the information transferred to a test operator and substitutes a terminal equipment 11 later when the same test is carried out again. A module calling pseudo means 10 displays the value of a calling parameter variable on the equipment 11 when the statement which calls out another program module is interpreted. Then an unset variable input means 9 changes the value of a field corresponding to the relevant parameter variable set within a variable allocation area 7 when the change is instructed from the equipment 11 for the value of said calling parameter variable or the file 12 contains the parameter change instruction data. In such a way, the productivity is improved without producing any pseudo module.
