PURPOSE:To obtain an insecticidal coating, film containing an insecticide in a copolymer resin of (meth)acrylonitrile with other monomers and capable of effectively sustaining insecticidal ingredients on the coating film surfaces for a long period. CONSTITUTION:An insecticidal coating film containing 0.1-10pts.wt., preferably 0.5-10pts.wt. insecticide in 100pts.wt. copolymer resin of 5-65wt.% preferably 15-50wt.% (meth)acrylonitrile and other monomers, e.g. acrylic acid ester or styrene derivative. The above-mentioned insecticide is selected from 13 compounds such as compounds expressed by formula I (R1-R3 are H, halogen, alkyl etc.; R4 is alkyl; R5 is H, CH3 or C2H5; R6 is H or halogen; R7 is alkyl, R6, etc.; X is S, O, etc.), compounds expressed by formula II (R12-R15 are H, halogen, alkyl or alkenyl), pentafluorobenzyl 2,2-dimethyl-3-(2,2-dichlorovinyl)- cyclopropanecarboxylate expressed by formula III, etc. The coating film is effective in continuously expelling cockroaches, termites, etc., crawling thereto.
