摘要 <p>This membrane is a cylindrical or flat porous polypropylene membrane, which is obtained by melt-kneading (10) a composition composed of polypropylene, a filler which is extractable with an extractant, such as paraffin, and a nucleating agent, then ejecting it into a gas atmosphere (16) through a nozzle or a slit (15) in a cylindrical or flat membrane form, bringing it into contact with a cooling and solidifying fluid (17) composed of silicone oil or polyether to solidify, and treating it with an extractant (27). The membrane has a structure wherein the inner surface has a solid phase of granular polypropylene forming a densely molten continuous phase with part of the granules being exposed and each of the inside and the outer surface has a solid phase of granular polypropylene lying in a row in the axial direction, and wherein the space between these solid phases is in a three-dimensional network state to form through pores. Properties of the membrane: index of double refraction: 0.001-0.01; void ratio: 10-60 % or 60-85 %; oxygen gas flux: 100-1500 l/min.m2.atm water permeability: » 100 ml/min.mmHg.m2; bubble point, « 2.0 Kgf/cm2. Uses of the membrane: artificial lung, membrane for separating blood plasma.</p>
