PURPOSE:To enable a cooking content or a cooking advancing state in a cooking unit to be confirmed while an operator seats in a living room, for example, by a method wherein a present time, the content of cooking and a cooking process are detected through a micro-computer stored in a main body and a content corresponding to an image output from an interface circuit for outputting the image output signal corresponding to the detected content is displayed in a TV receiver. CONSTITUTION:A micro-computer 3 is arranged in a main body 1, a function to display such as a present time, a cooking content and a cooking process during a cooking time is controlled and at the same time a control over an electric energization for a heater 2 stored in the main body 1 is performed to adjust calorie. The time, cooking content and cooking process are detected by an operation sensing circuit 4, its output is connected to a transmittance circuit 6 through an inner interface circuit 7. The interface circuit 7 is separately arranged to receive a signal from the operation sensing circuit 4 amplified by the transmittance circuit 6 and sends out an image output signal corresponding to the interpreted content. Signal from the interface circuit 7 is received by a receiver such as of a TV set and an image corresponding to the content of transmittance is displayed in the screen.
