The outer surface of the pool is formed by applying a covering layer onto a mould. This is allowed to solidify to a pasty state. A first layer of resin-impregnated glass-fibres is then applied and set. Several resin-impregnated glass fibre layers are then applied after each preceding layer is set. Specifically, a final insulating layer of polyurethane foam is applied.
