Liquid is equilibrated with osmolarity and most important electrolytes of blood in usual way and contains Na in form of Na cyclohexanesulphamate. This Na cpd. has good compatibility, is practically non-toxic and inert to tissues. Intestinal mucosa is not permeable to its anion, whilst loss of Na from blood is prevented and thereis no damage to water and electrolyte balance. |
