PURPOSE:To provide a hot water reservoir tank which is compact and yet offers a greater storage quantity by employing multiple heat collector elements whose space between glass vessel and water container is vacuumized, the first tube of element being connected to a feed water tank and the second tube to the hot water reservoir tank to heat water through its natural circulation. CONSTITUTION:The vacuum type solar collector element 5 has a first tube 3 which is connected to a feed water tank 6 and a second tube 4 which is connected to a hot water reservoir tank 7 in parallel. The feed water tank 6 and hot water reservoir tank 7 are independently disposed near to the open end of a glass vessel 1 and a water container 2, and are covered with heat insulating material 8 and housed under an upper cover 9. When city water is connected to the inlet 6a of the feed water tank 6, water is filled up to the level where a float valve is closed. Hit by sunlights, the water in the water container 2 is heated to move upward to the hot water reservoir tank 7, and cold water in the hot water reservoir tank 7 moves toward the bottom of the water container 2. By such natural circulation, the water in the hot water reservoir tank 7 is heated. Upon taking out hot water through a hot water pipe, hot water is dispensed from the upper level where it is always hot by following the water level variation.
