PURPOSE:To obtain the titled body having the high sensitivity and the excellent durability by providing a layer contg. at least one of a specific compd. on a conductive supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The layer contg. the compd. shown by formula I or II is provided on the conductive supporting body. In formula I or II, X is -S- or -O-, etc., Ar is a substd. or an unsubstd. aryl group, or a substd. or an unsubstd. heterocyclic ring group, R1-R7 are each hydrogen or halogen atom, (n) is 0 or 1. The excellent electric charge transferring ability of the compd. is utilized, and said compd. is used for an electric charge transfer substance CTM of the functional separation type photosensitive body in which the generation and the transferring of an electric charge are effected by different substances respectively. For example, the photosensitive layer 4 composed of the laminate of a electric charge generating layer CGL 2 and an electric charge transfer layer CTL 3 contg. CTM as a main component is provided on the conductive supporting body 1. Thus, the photosensitive body which has the high sensitivity and the excellent stability in the characteristics in case of using repeatedly and has no trouble about poisonous property is obtd. |
