PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a defective coil by comparing the residual of a conductor for a coil and the quantity of the conductor required for winding one coil. CONSTITUTION:Every time when a coil is wound, the unit quantity of a conductor is subtracted from the value of the conductor residual storage area for a winding head 21 of the coil. Then, as a result of subtraction, i.e., the residual of the supplied material 23 for the conductor and the unit quantity of the conductor are compared and if the subtraction result shows longer than the unit quantity of the conductor, the winding operation is continued. On the other hand, if the subtraction result shows shorter than the unit quantity of the conductor, it is an alarm state and a display shows which winding head 21 is the alarm state. This can prevent the generation of a defective coil due to the lack of the conductor 24 during the winding operation of the coil. |
